The one cookie we use
This website sets a single first-party cookie called _ra_uid. It holds a random identifier and stays in your browser for up to one year. Its only job is to help us count how many people visit Eliana’s page, and to tell a returning visitor apart from a new one.
What we collect
Our own analytics record which pages are viewed, which buttons and links are clicked, the website that referred you here, your device type (phone, tablet or desktop), and your country. That is the whole list.
The analytics never collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, or anything that identifies you personally. The random identifier in the cookie is not linked to any personal information.
What we do with it
The numbers are stored by us and used for one purpose: understanding how the website is used so we can keep it working well. We do not share, sell, or trade this data with anyone, and there are no third-party advertising or tracking scripts on this site.
Messages and RSVPs
A message you post appears on Eliana’s page with the display name you choose, and the family can take it down at any time. An RSVP is only shared with Eliana’s family, and we use your email address to confirm it.
Your choices
You can delete or block the _ra_uid cookie at any time in your browser settings. The website works exactly the same without it.
